What is one thing you love about working at Vision Bank?
What I love most about working at Vision Bank is the people. I get to lead an incredible team while helping serve our amazing customers each day. Seeing the positive difference we make for our customers, our communities, and our company is incredibly rewarding.
What makes community banking different?
What makes community banking different is the relationships we build with our customers. We take the time to truly get to know them personally. Many of our customers know us by name, and we can say the same about them. We focus on understanding their needs so we can better serve them, their families and their businesses as they grow and succeed.
As a community bank, we don’t just reinvest deposits back into our local community—we also invest our time by serving on local boards, charities, and civic organizations. That’s important because the success of the bank is closely tied to the success of the community. Our customers are our neighbors, and their success is our success.
What is your favorite feature we offer right now?
One of my favorite features we offer right now is our short-term Certificate of Deposits (CDs). They are a great option for customers who want a place to temporarily save money while earning a competitive interest rate. Because there is a higher penalty for withdrawing funds before maturity compared to a regular savings account, CDs can help customers stay committed to their savings goals. CDs can also be used as collateral for loans, which can be helpful for customers who are looking to build or establish credit. It is a flexible tool that can support both saving and financial growth.
What does "Vision" mean to you in your role?
Vision to me means leading my team with purpose and helping them see the impact they have on our customers every day. Inspiring my team to do their best and reminding them that there are always opportunities to grow and improve leads to success. My vision is to help my team grow and succeed in every step of their careers while creating customer relationships that last a lifetime and continue for generations to come.
