Meet Your Branch Manager, Julie Mayo!
What is one thing you love about working at Vision Bank?
I love the customers I get to serve at Vision Bank! Working at a bank isn’t just about numbers, it’s about people. Every account we open and every conversation we have helps someone move forward in life. The best part of my job is helping customers feel confident about their finances and building long-term relationships.
What makes community banking different?
As a community bank, we are committed to supporting local schools, events, and neighbors while reinvesting in the communities we serve to help foster long-term growth and success.
What does Vision mean to you in your role?
“Vision” to me means always looking ahead to the future of banking while learning and growing every day. At Vision Bank, our customers aren’t just account numbers—they’re our neighbors, and we treat them that way.
What is a fun fact about you?
I have worked in banking since I was in high school, and over the years I have seen many changes in the industry. One thing that hasn’t changed is how much I enjoy coming to work each day and making sure our customers are taken care of and every transaction is completed successfully.
I am married to Neil Mayo and am the proud mother of four children—Jennifer, Jamie, Korbin, and Matthew—and three wonderful grandchildren, Tripp, Cora, and Clara.
I am also a graduate of Leadership Murray County Class VI, OBA Emerging Leaders Academy Class XI, and OBA Consumer Lending School. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities Vision Bank has given me to learn and grow both personally and professionally. With a team and culture like this, why would I want to work anywhere else?
